A dedicated handheld that runs Red Kit entirely offline: e-ink, a thumb keyboard, a week of field duty, and one button — the fox. Everything below is concept-stage and dimensioned ahead of first prototype hardware.

Notes

  1. All dimensions mm. Envelope gated on caliper check of items 1, 4, 6 — rev R4 before any tooling.
  2. Item 2: tall connectors removed (15 mm exceeds Z). Device is USB-C only, via pigtail to item 10.
  3. Item 5 must carry NTC input — no cell charging below 0 °C.
  4. Item 4 cavity rigid; zero preload on pouch.
  5. Item 7 is the primary heatsink; item 8 mandatory. Z-budget both zones = 21.0 exactly.
  6. Updates signed, A/B partitions; radios physically unpowered outside maintenance mode.
  7. Ship gate: quantized model + device retrieval stack pass the scenario bench, not perplexity only.
